Connections

The following states the connections between the Mr Kick PC (BNC-2090 box) and the MTS control tower.

Note: All signals travel from one output (source) to one or more inputs (destinations): Never connect two outputs - it may damage any of them!

Ouput (Source)	Inputs (Destinations)	Description
Mr Kick DAC #0 Out	MTS J78 / Input #8	Command signal used to control the actuators movement
MTS J72 / Output #2	Mr Kick ACh13	Copy of the above command signal as seen by the MTS system.
MTS J71 / Output #1	Mr Kick ACh12	Actuator position feedback
Either one of the MTS outputs	Mr Kick PFI0 / Trig1	May be used to trigger Mr Kick at eg. a specific position

The 68-wire schielded cable between the MIO-board in the Mr Kick PC and the BNC-2090 box must be properly connected for this to work. Please be carefull when connecting it: The pins easily bend and break!
