Windows 2000/XP required - Neither tested with nor expected to be ready for Windows Vista!
NI-DAQmx version 7.4 (or above) required for data acquisition!
Warning: Using Analog Output in the mx-based Mr Kick II with a PCI-6024E board may malfunction: The analog output may not end at the set offset! - Eg. if used to control the stimulation amplitude/pattern of a stimulator this can cause severe stimulations!!!
Support for PFC-III, the "new" platform-controller (1.802/070514) Note: Loading files with settings for the old controller may cause invalid settings for the new controller!
Display up to 16 channels, depending on window size (1.810/070521)
Auto update Superimpose 1 File (1.811/070521; preliminary!)
Platform position (PFC-III/ext) channels available (2.001/070627)
Platform: Support for repeated trajectories (2.003/070711)
Improved scaling of graphs in Continuos Acquisition (2.010/071017)
Intended to replace Free Running Scope!
Default user configuration files moved to "…\Application Data\Mr Kick" folder (2.010/071019)
AO reset to Offset at end of acquisition: Reduce 6024E and alike boards issue (2.020/080328)
New Trigger option: External trig on first sweep in series, internal on following sweeps (2.030/090211)
Bugs and fixes
≤2.001: When loading (setting) files platform origo and ankle heigth was not synchronized with Mr Kick (Fixed 2.002/070705)
AOPIs based on sine calculation (Haver Sine and Sine-Hold-Sine) could not handle negative amplitudes (Fixed 2.020a/080821)
If using AO-patterns lasting longer than the post-trig acquisition would occasionally cause a "ressource reserved"-error if acquisition was stopped manually. A restart of Mr Kick would be needed to resolve (~Fixed 2.021/081031)
AO-pattern Pulse-Burst-Train does not keep individual class settings (090309, not fixed!)
Matlab bug - Mr. Kick files (any version) loaded into Matlab version 7.7 (R2008b) and 7.8 (R2009a) may be corrupted! - If Matlab runs on a little-endian processor (typically Intel; eg Windows PCs), elements will be swapped two-n-two in most matrices. Fixed in MatLab release 2009b (vs.7.9)
AOPI Haver Sine endpoint is full amplitude! (100726; Fixed AOPI.llb exist but installer not updated)
Behind the scenes
This section is only of interest to the technically minded...
For intermediate versions and pre-releases see the "Latest" section.
Vs. 2.00 is build with NI-DAQmx 8.3.1f0; vs. 2.03 ~ NI-DAQmx 8.8.0f2.
vs. 2.020 was tested with a USB-6251 device (May 2008): It seems to work fine, and it's expected that USB-6229 and alike devices will work as well.
